The short version

  • We have no user accounts, no login and no contact form.
  • We do not ask you for personal data, and we never handle payment details.
  • We run no advertising network and no cross-site advertising trackers.
  • The booking widgets on some pages are served by GetYourGuide and can set their own cookies.
  • Following an affiliate link tells the destination platform that you arrived from us.

What we collect ourselves

Directly, nothing. There is no form on this site and no account to create. If you email hi@louvreprivate.tours, we hold that message and your address for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of any correction, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider which keeps standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser user-agent. These are used for security and to diagnose faults, and are retained for a limited period by the host.

Cookies

We set no cookies of our own. The pages are static HTML with no first-party tracking script.

Two third-party mechanisms are in play, and both are worth understanding:

  • GetYourGuide booking widgets. Several pages embed a date-picker or an activity list served from widget.getyourguide.com. That content loads in an iframe from GetYourGuide’s servers and may set cookies and use local storage under their control and their privacy policy. Your browser also reveals your IP address to them in order to load it. If you block third-party cookies, the widget still displays; the rest of the page is unaffected either way.
  • Affiliate links. Links to tours pass through a redirect on this domain (/go/…) and then to the platform with a partner identifier attached. The redirect itself sets no cookie. The destination platform will typically set its own cookie to record that you arrived from us, which is how any commission is attributed.

Fonts are self-hosted from this domain, so no font provider sees your visit. We embed no third-party analytics, no social media widgets and no advertising pixels.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you, and to object to it. In practice the only personal data we are likely to hold is an email you have sent us. Ask at hi@louvreprivate.tours and we will act within one month.

For data held by GetYourGuide as a result of a widget or an affiliate click, you will need to exercise those rights with GetYourGuide directly, under their own privacy policy — we have no access to it.

Children

This site is aimed at adults planning a visit. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and there is no mechanism here by which we could.

Changes
